Over 1000 units ago, we saw an opportunity to improve upon the Biotage Flash 12i™ and 40i™ manual flash chromatography systems. After hearing about common customer complaints, we came up with some ideas for our F12/40 manual flash chromatography system.

• Add simple viewing slots in our F40 compression module to allow you can see what is happening to your compound inside your column.
• Improve the F40 compression module threads. Fewer, more coarse threads prevent cross threading and require fewer, easier turns for secure attachment, time after time.
• Reduce F12 compression module leaking and maintenance costs by eliminating o-rings.
• Design a simple isocratic pump to replace the solvent reservior (BSR).
• Produce a line of flash consumables that will work in either our system or our competitor's system.

NOTE: Most customers looking for an entry-level automated system are choosing our BSR SimpliFlash – it is easier to use, less expensive and more compact than the F12/40 Flash System.
